This place has the best chicken masala in Dallas. I would highly recommend getting this is, if you are a fan of it. Also goes really well with the garlic naan. Great spice and taste! You can get it more mild if you are not a fan of the spice. I would recommend medium or higher.

The modest buffet consistently delivers satisfaction. My family and I truly appreciate their traditional cuisine, especially the chicken tikka and yellow rice, along with their delightful selection of desserts. The ambiance is pleasantly quiet, making it a great dining experience. Please note that their operating hours differ from many other restaurants, so I recommend checking the hours displayed on the door in the photo I took. On our visit, they were nearing closing time, yet they graciously served us parathas.

Vegan friendly! The owner is so nice, I went in for the lunch buffet and he pointed out several vegan options and even specially made me an additional item! It was delicious, I will be back

The food here is AMAZING!! We got there after closing but the owner (&chef) was kind enough to let us in and let us order takeout. I’m Muslim so finding halal around the area was tough and they offer halal options!! I truly appreciated him for this. Highly recommend their food too, it was fantastic! Show them some love

Delicious food, incredibly warm and welcoming. I am glad to have a lovely restaurant like Taj Mahal nearby. The rice pudding they threw in as a bonus last time? Divine. I can't say better things. If you're for real about shopping local, supporting small businesses, these folks are more than deserving.

I used to dine at this restaurant a lot in their previous location, and was excited when I heard the news that they were reopening. My mother and I decided to stop by yesterday for dinner and we were immediately seated. The restaurant was pretty quiet, but there were a few customers, and it seems many people stop by to pick up to go orders. The family that owns this restaurant are very hospitable and provide excellent service every time, the owner immediately recognized my mother and I and come by to say hello and take our orders. I ordered the tandoori chicken and naan, and my mother placed her orders. The food came pretty fast and was delicious. I ordered mild and the spice was at a perfect level, having both flavor and some warmth, but nothing insanely hot. The chicken was perfectly moist and was as fresh as it can be. The naan bread was also delicious and freshly made. The owners know I like their gulab jamun, and without even asking she brought out some for me, and gave me some to go free of charge, it was a very kind gesture and is more than appreciated. Additionally, I happen to be allergic to nuts, and I've never had problems here, so if you have nut allergies you won't need to worry here. Overall the experience was great, and for the amount of food you get, the prices are very reasonable. This is a great place and I fully recommend dining here. I'll be back for more soon!

Customer service was great! The ambience has a very intimate setting. My boyfriend and I had the Chicken Masala and Garlic Naan made fresh to order and tasted delicious! Kudos to the chef! I'd recommend this place to anyone.

We love Taj Mahal! We used to go to the old location in Richardson and it was always excellent. Now that they’ve moved further down 75 towards Dallas it’s even more convenient. The new location is much nicer and the food is still just as incredible. if you like Indian food, this should be your go to spot. Obviously the lunch buffet is a very good value for the money. You can also stop by during lunch and make yourself a to go plate to bring home for dinner. All of the entree dishes, salad bar, soup, naan, and dessert are very tasty. Awesome place!
